Refund policy

At Emperor’s Attic we pride ourselves on the quality of each of our products. As with all artisanal products slight variations and imperfections may exist – this is part of the beauty of handcrafted items. However please do not hesitate to contact us if you are concerned in any way about an item you have purchased from us. Please inspect your order before signing the delivery order and contact us immediately with any concerns or if you receive the wrong item.

Exchanges and credits
Furniture items and large art pieces can be returned undamaged within 7 days from date of purchase for exchange or credit only. We do not offer refunds. The delivery and collection fees - which usually ranges from $60-$100 each way depending on the size and number of items - will be deducted from your credit. 

On smaller items these can be returned to our store within 3 days from the date of purchase.

To be eligible for an exchange or credit, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase if your item was purchased in our store. 

Refunds
If an item delivered is incorrect, damaged or faulty then you are of course entitled to a full refund and no collection fees will be charged. If the damage is minor then you can opt for a repair at no charge from our preferred carpenter and restorer. All options will be discussed with you. On smaller items these can be returned to our store within 3 days from the date of purchase.

Out of Stock Items
From time to time, due to system delays, an item that you have purchased online may be out of stock. In such rare cases we will contact you to let you know and immediately issue a full refund. We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this might cause.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products or special orders. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
